ABOUT

Our History

2004

School founded by Dr. Jaydeep and Dr. Pratibha Mirashi, starting with Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG for 81 students.

2005

Implemented two divisions, A and Alpha, to reduce class sizes, focusing on personalised attention for students.

2007

Authorised to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), enhancing the school's curriculum and educational framework.

2009

Constructed the 'C' Wing for Grades VI-X and obtained authorisation to offer the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.

2011

Authorised to offer the IB Diploma Programme, and a new wing, 'E' Wing, was built specifically for Grades XI and XII.

2013

The first batch of Grade XII graduated, achieving a student body of 500 students.

2024

Expanded facilities with new classrooms for the PYP and introduced a new division, Omega. Also, authorised to offer the A Levels Programme.

Hill Spring International School was started with a vision to provide education of International standards and expose young minds to the global environment, thus bringing the world closer to us. At the same time the overall program has retained and encouraged the core values of our Indian culture.
We hope to continue with the same commitment driven by internal motivation and support of the entire team at Hill Spring International School.

The Management at Hill Spring International School aims to promote international understanding through education and make this education relevant to the global needs of our time.

The Management team encompasses a three-fold plan at its core:

It offers a well-balanced, challenging and stimulating program of work. It aims to equip the students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to succeed with a positive self-image at any stage of their lives.

The school aims to promote an all-round development of the student in an environment that is stimulating and challenging . In addition to acclimatised homerooms, the school houses an array of activity zones and learning centres. The Homeroom teachers are responsible for the care of the students and are sensitive to their individual needs to ensure that they are able to benefit fully from the well-developed program at school.

> To promote internationalism:

Through academics and activities within and beyond the homeroom, the school seeks to inculcate in students a respect for and appreciation of the many different cultures of the world and at the same time be rooted in Indian culture and values.

Dear Students and Parents,

I’m excited to welcome you as your new Principal. Having been part of this wonderful HSIS family since 2008, first as a teacher and then as an IBDP Coordinator, I’ve had the privilege to watch our students grow and achieve remarkable things, serving as an agent of change in this ever-changing world we live in.

This year, our theme is Peace and Harmony. In a world marked by conflict and division, education has the power to build understanding between cultures and communities. Our diverse school community will nurture this spirit of global citizenship within our students.

We’re also embracing new ways to prepare our children for the future. By integrating AI as a learning tool and utilising differentiated instruction, we ensure that every child receives the personalised support they need to thrive as per their innate potential. Our dedicated teachers work collaboratively on curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities every day to make this vision a reality.

I look forward to working with all of you as we continue building a school where every student can discover their unique path and develop the confidence to pursue their dreams.
